July 1 – Marvin Chapel, Berryville, VA (ONP #181)
Today I found the most charming little church driving back home from West Virginia. So cute, it begged me to stop and take photos of it from several angles. 
When I was young I remember hearing an old hymn about “The Church in the Dell” or “The Church in the Wildwood” on some recording my parents had. Well, this is it!
It’s exactly the church I had in my imagination when I heard that song! (except that the church in the song was brown.) 
But close enough. Apparently it was somewhere on the border of West Virginia and Virginia all this time.
This is why I love driving the back roads. . . .
